Asheeqa Bisonpersad

ACADEMIC GRADE 12 Fish Hoek High School

Academic Progress:  Asheeqa is able to make realistic assessment of her subject strengths and weaknesses and set realistic, attainable goals for herself.  Her academic progress puts her in a good position to gain entry into a tertiary course however her English should ideally be over 60%.

Post School Vision: Asheeqa is interested in philosophy, spirituality and the history of humankind.  She is strategic, organised and people-oriented.  She would like to study Sociology at university and has applied to the University of the Western Cape.

GOLF: Handicap

LIFE SKILLS: President’s Award Bronze
Asheeqa received a note of thanks from The President’s Award for her detailed Bronze Portfolio. She chose golf for her Bronze Sport and improved greatly with her score and skill. This she will continue during her Silver improving her game. Asheeqa immersed herself in her Community for her Service. Feeding children during the holiday at a scheme in Ocean View was just one of the things she enjoyed. Children are very important to her and she loves spending time with them. A quiet natural leader, Asheeqa polished up on her Public Speaking for her Skill section of the Award and will be studying for her driving for her Silver.

The Bronze Adventurous journey of 24 kms over 2 days was a time for Asheeqa to develop the public speaking she learnt in her Skill section to organise the juniors fairly during the camp. Giving 100% commitment to the success of the camp for everyone concerned shows how her leadership skills are developing and she is looking forward to the Silver Camp in 2017.
