What make sport such a great life skill is that when the pressure is on true winners stand tall! Our RAGA Schools League Golf Team did exactly that: stand tall!

The Schools League see eleven teams of school age players compete over 4 months. The boys went out in the final two matches needing to win both games by big margins to stand a chance of winning the league. The main rival for the title were the young men from the SA Golf Development Board (SAGDB). Both RAGA and the SAGDB tied in first place for the league on 18 out of a maximum of 20 points on offer. However, it was the Development Board that ultimately won on game “count out “by a mere 1 game. Well done to both teams and to the RAGA boys; you were simply brilliant! RAGA team final score count: played 10, won 9, and lost 1, games for 47, games against 13.
