RAGA students enjoy Family Symphonic Fun at the Artscape

The RAGA students were lucky to attend the Family Symphonic Fun Day hosted by the Cape Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (CYPO), at the Artscape. The event is designed to entertain, educate and inspire. Our students thought it certainly did all three!

Each instrument was introduced by the experienced MC and the CPYO played a variety of popular melodies including Finlandia by Sibelius, excerpts from Bizet’s Carmen suite, the tango from the movie Scent of a Woman, Duke Ellington’s Medley and the Radetzky March by Johann Strauss Sr.
